“The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.” John 1:9-10
The day draws near, and the path leads straight to our Lord. Every day Christ is born in our hearts, every season light dawns, every moment our gift, Immanuel awaits us.
Have we set ourselves to see, to recognize, to be present?
Light your candles and take in the glow that has grown in strength and warmth as we near the end of the winding Advent path. This light remains in you as you enter this holy time; should you encounter challenges, or the frustration of all the hustle, or even the sorrow that can find us in these times too. Keep this warmth with you, return to it, share it by reaching out to another in fellowship and service.

Prayer
God of All, walk with us in these last days of Advent as we turn to you in service, in wonder, in gratitude. Amen.
