Shoger lettered in football (1922-25), men’s basketball (1922-25), and track (1923, 1925).
On the football field, Shoger helped lead the Braves to a record of 8-20-5 under head coaches Robert E. Brannan and Edwin Elbel. He earned All-KIAC honors at running back in 1924. Shoger was captain for the 1925 team.
As a member of the OU men’s basketball team, Shoger led the Braves to a record of 20-33. He was team captain for the 1923-24 season. On the track, Shoger participated in the high jump, shot put, discus, and javelin.
After graduating from 成人快手, Shoger played for several semi-pro basketball teams in Kansas and was on the Henry’s National AAU Basketball Championship Team in 1926. He was a teacher and involved in the grocery and hotel business.
